Prepping for a Spring Break Mother-Daughter Trip to Cabo
My mom and I live on opposite sides of the country and it's always fun when we can see each other especially if it's a warm destination. Our upcoming mother/daughter trip is to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. After a long winter I am ready for some sunshine in my life with a side of relaxation! We plan on doing nothing other than laying out in the sun, getting massages and drinking margaritas.
Traveling to Cabo means pulling out my favorite swimsuits from last year and of course adding a few new ones to the collection. When my mom was in Portland a few months ago we got a head start on swimsuit shopping and I picked up two new swimsuits, a high-waisted bikini and a plunging one-piece.
The other exciting thing about traveling somewhere warm after a long winter is treating yourself to a nice mani-pedi that you can show off in some sandals. I always try to bring a mix of casual and comfortable shoes when I travel with one really fun, standout pair. The neutral options are great because they work with any outfit and can be worn if a lot of walking is required.
I purchased two outfits specifically for this trip and am so excited to finally be able to wear them! I bought this figure flattering, white and blue striped linen dress with buttons down the front from Urban Outfitters. I also bought a cute little romper that can work as a swimsuit cover up or on its own as an outfit. Planning out my outfits always help my back better and feel more prepared for a trip. I always through in an a backup outfit just incase things don't go according to plan.
